I took a long break from reading books. I think the last book I read was “Love the one you’re with” – Emily Giffin. BIG thanks to my super duper baet sponsor! J To give a brief background on how I got the book (and not the story), I got it as a gift. Sowsyal kasi Hardbound eto! J Anyhoo, Emily Giffin is one of my favorite girly girly authors – next to Sophie Kinsella of course. And the way I see it, Emily is not that popular here in the PH. It was really hard to look for her novels (pero nung nasa NJ aku, ang dame! NY bestseller ang mga novels nya e J). Out of her 4 books, I was only able to purchase 2. I couldn’t find the other 2 anywhere. (Kahet magpa-order e walang assurance!) I mentioned this to one of my closest friends and guess what, he got me the 2! I dunno where the hell he was able to find them and he wouldn’t tell me even if I begged! Plus, he gave each book with a perfect timing! J

 

 

Anyhoo, months passed and I’m back to reading. I have been curious with the twilight series ever since my brother asked me if I knew what it was about. His classmates are utterly addicted to it and I have no clue what he was talking about. After hearing it again from an officemate, I decided that I’m going to go get myself one and understand what the buzz is all about. I got the first installment – Twilight, 2 weeks back. I haven’t had the time to read it so my brother opted to read it first. It was the first time I saw him so engrossed in a book (Even if a subject in school required him to read one, he will never do it in this pace). And after finishing it, he was urging me to go start reading it right away.

 

 

So here’s the deal, I finished the book in 2 seating. I can’t put it down once I start a chapter. The story is highly addictive. I won’t go into the details of the story. Let’s just say that I wish I have my own Edward. Haha! J And just this afternoon, I bought the next 3 books! J I can’t wait to go home and start reading New Moon. J
